About
Meet the Founder
I’m Anna Barroso, a Christian, fiction author, book designer, and lifelong student of stories. I write sweet romance and cozy fantasy rooted in hope, beauty, and quiet faith—stories meant to be welcoming to all readers, not just those seeking explicitly Christian fiction.
More notably, I’m a wife, a homemaker at heart, and someone who believes creativity flourishes best when it’s woven into everyday life. Much of my work is shaped by ordinary rhythms—morning routines, shared meals, seasonal living, and the slow accumulation of small, faithful efforts.
Why Harvest & Handbound?
As Christians, we are called to steward our gifts well. I believe that stewardship often looks like a slow, intentional journey—the work of the harvest. If the Lord has put a story on your heart, then you should write it. And I want to help that story come to life.
Two words, two parts of the same journey.
Harvest is the faithful work of writing: planting, tending, and finally gathering what God has given you to say.
Handbound is what comes next. A book deserves the same care you put into writing it, from clean, readable pages to a finished look that serves both your message and your reader.
Beautifully Bound, Faithfully Told. Your words matter, and so does how they're presented.
Industry Work
Before Harvest & Handbound, I spent ten years in marketing, design, and administration, and I've worked in publishing for the last three. That mix shapes how I work. I care about the craft of the book, and I care just as much about the business behind it: the systems, decisions, and planning that help an author or a small press keep publishing for the long haul.
As a independentally published fiction author and typesetter, I'm on both sides of the process. I know what it's like to hand off a manuscript, and I know what it's like to hold the finished book.
